About December 1914
A comic-style narrative-oriented game based on the Christmas Eve Truce during World War I.
Players will experience December 1914, playing the role of a soldier who has left his family to fight on the battlefield.
The game is approximately 30 minutes long. 80% of the proceeds will be donated to countries affected by war.

Experience the life of soldiers on the battlefield through simple games with objectives, including:
Soldiers will have the opportunity to rest briefly at night. This is also when they will receive updates on the war, communicate with friends, enjoy simple military rations, smoke, and look at photos of their loved ones.
There is a sanity meter in the game, which will change based on the soldier's actions. For example, killing someone will lower the sanity value. The sanity value may also decrease after completing a mission. When the sanity value is too low, the player's perspective will change, colors will fade, and vision will become distorted. Supplies and thoughts of loved ones at night can restore the soldier's sanity.
The Pope proposed a ceasefire for Christmas, but the proposal was rejected by the officials of the warring countries. However, on Christmas Eve, a miracle occurred, starting with a few brave soldiers...

A beautiful game that truly captures what happened in December 1914 considering that event was kinda obscure. Everything that happened in this game, actually happened back then and truly putting a spotlight on the horror of wars. In terms of practicality, I actually enjoyed this so much even though it is a bit repetitive, but it doesn't make the repetitive experience something to be complained worthy because the whole game doesn't really punish you for failing at mini games. In terms of visual and arts, I truly love the art style of it. Overall, a 8/10 narrative experience for me.1 found this helpful

December 1914 is a narrative-focused World War I experience that approaches war from a deeply human and emotional perspective rather than treating it as a source of spectacle or nonstop combat. Inspired by the real historical Christmas Truce during the First World War, the game tells a smaller and more personal story centered around soldiers briefly setting aside violence in the middle of one of history’s deadliest conflicts. Instead of emphasizing heroism or military power, the experience focuses on fear, exhaustion, loneliness, and the fragile moments of compassion that emerged even during unimaginable suffering. From the opening moments, the game establishes a bleak and somber atmosphere. Players are placed inside muddy trenches surrounded by cold weather, ruined landscapes, and the constant threat of death. The environments immediately communicate the hopelessness of trench warfare, where survival often depended more on endurance than bravery. The game avoids romanticizing war and instead presents the battlefield as a place filled with misery, isolation, and emotional exhaustion. This grounded approach gives the experience a level of authenticity that makes its quieter moments…
This Isn't a game this is art. Like, actually, this game didn't just bring tears to my eyes it had me full crying. I tis hard too explain the quality of this game without getting into spoilers but i shall try. The gameplay is quite simplistic to put it lightly but it is used pheonomkjhjkljhjk-Sorry I was wiping snot off my keyboard. I am keeping the typo as it is evidence of the impact this has on me. The gameplay is used phenomenally to make an incredibly emotional masterpiece about trauma, depression and morality. This is a true underrated masterpiece. I have had games make me sad before but this just set a new bar. This is what I want from videogames.
