Ded Inside, developed by Oblom Studio and published by BekkerDev Studio, is a top-down action game that centers on survival within a hostile, demon-filled world. It adopts a stripped-down approach, focusing almost entirely on combat and player endurance rather than narrative depth or structured progression. From the moment the game begins, it establishes a tone of constant danger, placing the player in an environment where movement, awareness, and quick reactions are essential for survival. The core gameplay revolves around navigating an open area while fending off continuous waves of enemies. Players are equipped with basic weapons and must rely on positioning and timing to stay alive, as enemies often appear in groups and can quickly overwhelm the player if not managed carefully. The top-down perspective provides a clear overview of the surroundings, allowing for tactical movement and quick decision-making during combat. While the controls are simple and easy to understand, the combat system itself remains fairly limited, with little variation in how encounters unfold. This simplicity makes the game accessible, but it also means that the action can become repetitive over time. …3 found this helpful
not as fun as the remake, D3D INSIDE, but i still liked it. i bought all 3 games to support this dev1 found this helpful
The controls are a bit clunky and the game would benefit from a little more polish, but that game is straight up to the point, and I enjoyed it. The game features some exploration and quests, the scenario is absurd and fun. It also features an interesting game mechanics during boss fights which I didn't see very often for a top down shooter. Give a try !1 found this helpful
Ded Inside is a basic 2D top down retro pixel shooter/joke game where you play the role of an old man who throws bottles of vodka at demons. While the premise may seem amusing, unfortunately the game isn't. In terms of good news, this isn't some basic asset/template flip, the developers genuinely set out to make a game (although it is a game with a joke premise). The quality here is fairly low, the game handling and controls are quite clunky and bad. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. If for whatever reason you do want to play a 2D retro pixel top down shooter, you could try Binding of Isaac or something like that. I can't recommend this one.1 found this helpful
The title perfectly sums up how you’ll feel after playing it, empty, hollow, and vaguely annoyed.
great game, do buy!
