D3D INSIDE 2: HELL

I liked the first game and it's story but this one feels rushed and boring. It feels like the developer/s pushed themselves into making this game not because they liked the idea, but because they had to do it. The first game had the charm that the sequel is missing. I can't recommend this game, even on sale.

D3D INSIDE 2: HELL is a poorly made Russian shovelware 3D rendered low poly FPS with a "demons and hell" theme as you're a drunk Russian in hell and you throw bottles at low poly demons. While we can all agree that's a bad idea for a game, the technical implementation is even worse. There's no English translation for the game, but that's ok. It turns out, the language of bad games is universal. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. A mindless FPS where you run around tossing vodka bottles at demons and such. Combat is not fun nor engaging. There's a bit of story provided at the beginning, but once you load into the world it's almost an instant thought of why are you even here to begin with. Like, shouldn't I be making breakfast? I should eat something. Probably toast. But instead of making toast, I was playing this. Trying to enjoy it. But, I did not. Occasionally it felt like I was tossing the vodka bottles a bit left of center. Like I was left handed, but my left arm was a few feet away from my body. Gathering ingredients to make more vodka was... Eh.. I guess it's like a mundane search and find. The audio cues don't always play when you pick something up, so turning around is something done a lot. As if you're some kind of terrible ballerina. Back to combat, there's not much else to say other than enemies die when they touch you while taking some of your health away. That's it.

Sequel of D3D Inside. Instead of following the original Ded Inside, it followed the First Person game. This game seems to be more open and lots to explore comparing to the previous game where its more linear. Gameplay is almost the same. Instead of collecting coins like in the original, you collect items to craft vodkas, health, and a new type of vodka where it explodes and do more damage than regular vodka. Gameplay is fairly okay just like the prequel. You will once again have to face demons, but in hell, and your weapon is vodka, as always.
