While I think the idea of this game was a great concept, I couldn't get past the voice acting. It sounded like AI and it was super distracting from the actual gameplay. The intro alone was 5 minutes of backstory which could've been incorporated in the gameplay instead of having us sit through the voice acting. I think this game could be fun with a friend to play as playing it solo was a bit overwhelming (managing oxygen levels, doing tasks that required two people, etc.)2 found this helpful

I would like to thank the developer(s) for giving me a key to play this game - being as such, this is my honest opinion of the game and simply receiving it for free does not determine a 10/10 rating. I both loved and a slight dislike(d) this game. The story was well done and I am thrilled to see what is to be continued. My only grip would have maybe selected another male voice actor for the role of Rob. Lol. For some reason, some of the things he said and how he said it, made it feel nonchalant and possibly even a little monotone, and for the love of Odin, who doesn't know the meaning of Asexual?! Regardless, I loved Maria's character the most, so obviously I am team Maria. The game ran smooth for me with no bugs, I played on K/M and I played solo. I do not know how Remote play would work as I do not have anyone local to play with and my best friend wouldn't be with me till Sept/Oct to test out the split screen. That being said, playing solo does take a bit longer to complete as you are having to flip back and forth between the characters and being that you cannot swim faster with the batteries, cables, or tanks in your hand, it is a bit time consuming so a bit of editing will h…
Deepest Trench is a beautifully crafted underwater adventure with a fantastic core concept that pulls you deeper the longer you explore; the game runs incredibly smooth, letting you glide through its haunting blue world with ease, and the amount of hidden Easter eggs tucked into the depths makes every dive feel like a discovery waiting to happen. It’s the kind of experience where atmosphere, mystery, and exploration blend perfectly, creating a captivating journey that rewards curiosity and keeps you searching for just one more secret beneath the waves.

I received a free copy for review on twitch. I enjoyed the gameplay and will continue to play. The main issue that I noticed was that when in 2 player remote mode when player 2 interacted with some of the objectives it would "glitch out the game" and we would have to restart the chapter but, other than that the game is great. the graphic are amazing in my opinion.
