In a world of growing xenophobia, Scotsmen living abroad fear for their right to practice their culture. Already, reports are emerging of foreign governments and vigilantes shutting down the haggis factories that were once the lifeblood of local Scottish communities. One Scotsman has the power to stand up to the world. His name is Alfredo.
A humble barman from Northern Scotland, Alfredo rose to prominence when he conquered England, Wales, and Ireland, after the English cricket team and a group of Irish potato farmers trashed his pub. Taking on the whole world however, will not be so easy. So Alfredo gathers together the finest fighting Scotsmen and sets forth in his Bagpipe Airship, on a mission to liberate global Scottish communities, one haggis factory at a time.

- Fight 24 zany enemies, from gun-toting Rednecks to Kangaroo Riding Aussie Shielas in bikinis.
- Face down 6 evil bosses, including Napoleon, Mussolini and Oda Nobunaga.
- Build 12 types of towers, from the traditional Scottish Porridge Cannon, to the foreign French Fondue Hose.
- Command 7 hero characters, including Alfredo, and foreign heroes such as Julius Caesar and Buddha.
- Fight through the 24 level campaign, or stage your ultimate battle in skirmish mode.
- Operate the Kilt-Lift-O-Matic, which provides a strong updraft for Scotsmen to descend from the Bagpipe Airship using their kilts as parachutes.
- Capture and hold oat fields to produce porridge to feed your army.
- Purchase upgrades for your Scotsmen and towers using money earned during levels.

The game's idea is fun and the game mechanics are not completly bad but you see the inexperience in the development, for example in the management of the zoom in the playing field: should be easier and faster to allow for better control over the game action. The graphic is poor, i don't enjoy it.2 found this helpful
Decent tower defence RTS game. Very funny with the types of units. Easy achievements too. Recommend for the price.1 found this helpful
A funny game for the first thirty minutes, but after that, it just got old.
Sexy game. Makes you want to murder the French, English and so on. But is that a bad thing?
I have mixed feelings about this. The first game was incredible – funny, innovative and satisfying on many levels. This one improves on a lot of detail – the AI is better, the use of cover is much better, there is a lot of imagination and development over what was in the first, the Scotsmen all get named, there are little touches like Heroes being able to do more than just attack and more. So why mixed feelings? It is a great game but a couple of things – Defend the Highlands worked best because the oppressed minority feeling worked better when it was Scotsmen at home, beset by outside forces, there are no cards/badges in this one…. And then there's the achievements. The achievements in this version are less diverse and are basically too easy. For the first game, I wrote a guide as some things were less clear – for this one you would not even bother. Surely, you think that is a good thing then? Not when I stop after doing the first level, play a skirmish battle and unlock 17/41 achievements in one skirmish. I am not saying I need achievements to be harder to validate myself but I would like them to be more intricate. The targets on them are pretty low as well. Likewise, …
