Desktop Dynasties: Pro Football

I consider myself on games and such as pretty knowledgeable about any games that I have played and bought. I am a 76 yr old man and basically I would consider myself somewhat of an expert on what is a good game and what is a bad game that I just purchased desktop. I have over 100 games on Steam and just bought 2 yesterday for the first time in years. I just purchased Desktop Dynasties today and have not even played it yet. But, you cannot beat the price and just the premise of the game. As you can imagine, I have probably another 80 or so other games I have purchased over the years. They are mostly Baseball, Football,Soccer, Basketball, Golf, and other odds and ends. The worst part of all this is the eyes are starting to go and it is getting harder to see, but I hope to live to at least 80. The only advice I can give to any of you that read this is to do what you want and don`t listen to some of your so called friends that kid you about playing games ! I have done it for years and had other people tell me so. fun little way to waste time if you don't know what to play. worth $1 for sure, but it's not a perfect game by any means

Game has huge potential,unfortunately dev abandoned it .Need a dev that can take source code and continue it. Descr: take it as mini manager pro nfl football. Ayes: Cool graphics, Cool Animations,Plenty of Teams ,Cool idea of board game,interesting ideas of spread sheet,tables and drafts. Now for Nays : No Tutorial,Unfinished parts everywhere,Lack of complete number of team players,incorrect length of pitch, lack of plays,lack of playbook,unfinished work in .....EVERYTHING.(p.s.- for newcomers check forum discussions on how to start the game ++++ ) Maybe someone will have pity and take source code to finish the game.It's really shame it's not worked on anymore.Advice:Neutral- (it's up to buyers)

I give this game 5 out of 5 stars. Since release, this has been my favorite sports management game. The game is unique in pretty much every aspect. Salaries under $100 make the financial portion much easier to plan and manage. A roster size of 20 (8 on off/def) makes it easier to manage - yet diverse enough to keep entertaining in the long run - just the right balance. AI trades are fair and fun, with AI coaches/teams having different styles/traits which make teams unique. Games are 50 plays in length. You can coach your games or just watch them, can watch all other games as well. There are college player and yearly drafts. The screens are not overly complex, very easy to learn and navigate. The depth of the management portion is detailed enough to keep this game very addictive. Great game that was extremely well planned all around !!

this game is a lot deeper than it looks. if you like to scout players, draft players, and just build your team, this game is a blast, no, the graphics and gameplay aren't great, but the whole franchise part of it is a blast. I wish whoever started this game would add and fix a few things, but sadly, I heard he is no longer updating it. Its 99 cents, try it, but not for the graphics, but for the franchise part of it, I highly recommend it. And, I was able to edit the teams to NFL teams, but you cannot edit players. They also have the College teams, so if there is a player you want to scout, you can actually go watch his game. Well, I could go on, but I just wanted to give this game some love. Thank you
