Dethroned

While its a fun auto battler (and yes, its still early development) - I'm not sure development (or even players) are actively enabling this game. I.E it seems rather dead. If there were more updates / changes then its likely a good game, but its not much different to the demo to be honest

Organizing your army, and recruiting new troops roguelike-style - the idea alone deserves a thumb up. But besides that - "Dethroned" is really (!) early access. An early feature that I love is scaling text up - yes, that's really important to me. The UI this way becomes readable extremely good - but at this state it simply looks like an early Demo, missing some individuality in design completely. The gameplay itself - is thrilling at first, but getting the trick, it reduces to a simple amry re-organizing, expendables first row, strong ones second, archers in the back - and that's it. The spells are a nice addition, artefacts - just change numbers and don't feel game-changing. It feels that there's a lot gameplay missing at this point. If it gets to the full state, this game will become a completely new experience for fans (like me, too). I truely hope it will ever leave early access and become the game it is meant to be!

Abandonware. No updated for over a year. no activity on the boards for almost a year. The game feels more like a demo then a full game. I constantly had issues where I could no longer move for some reason with no explanation as to why. This forced me to have to restart over and over again. It had potential but looks like it will never be polished correctly.

ta bueno, entretenido pero no es la gran maravilla, solo que queda muy corto, las builds rotas son muy obvias y no hay tanta variedad o otras opciones buenas como para rejugabilidad una vesz ya lo has completado...como decirlo.... cuando juegas sientes que hay una opcion muy obvia al momento de elegir, ojala agregen mas contenido en futuras entregas o en parches pa este mismo por que si se sintio muy corto el juego. emmmm...edit post review: ya paso un año la ultima actualizacion.......parece que se va a quedar asi, lo tenia con review positiva por que tenia la ilusion de que con unas cuantas updates mejoraria por que si se veia prometedor.....pos F

Dethroned is a solid twist on tactical troop management. The different heroes actually change how you approach each run, which keeps it from feeling repetitive. It’s easy to get into, but there’s enough depth to stay engaging. Clean mechanics, satisfying decisions, and a good balance between challenge and fairness. Definitely worth it if you like tactical strategy games.
