Digimon game not for everyone, the most depressing one in my opinion. Great story delivered by Visual Novel aesthetic and turn base tactics for digimon battle. But, Holly Molly original playthrough is so depressing than NG+ story. Death, mourning, descent into madness and sacrifice is routine for this Digimon game normal playthrough. So if you not ready for this kind of story and stuff, maybe this game is not for everyone.5 found this helpful
Love it, horror stories for the win! I wouldn't play this game for the gameplay, but the epic story.3 found this helpful
Perhaps not the game to get you into Digimon, but if your already a fan of the franchise it's really enjoyable. Just be mindful that it is a digital novel with about 70% reading and 30% gameplay. If you're with that, then I would definitely recommend.1 found this helpful
really big change from other digimon games but still very fun
[GAME REFUNDED] I would just like to preface this review with the fact that Im a big fan of JRPGs and tactical games (mainly SMT, Persona, Fire Emblem, Danganronpa), and I grew up watching the original digimon anime and playing some of the older games (loved world 4 on the ps2). This game caught my attention because it promised to be exactly the type of game I love - story driven, with fun tactical combat and cool characters. Unfortunately tho I just wasnt feeling it. The UI looks like something you'd see on a RPG maker game, looks bland and uninspiring. The story is generic with uninteresting characters which didnt hook me at all in the first few hours, specially since there's pretty much no voice acting for most of the dialogue outside cutscenes. And just as I was about to give this game another go, after playing it for a bit over an hour on my first go, the game just completely stopped working on my PC altogether, it would just refuse to launch. I did some googling and apparently this is a common issue and reinstalling it was my only option to fix it. At that point I threw in the towel, I was already not enjoying my time, and to top it off the game is a buggy mess even afte…
i am not surviving this universe with cryptid lopmon and vegetarian agumon
