If you love dinosaurs, you might enjoy the quick visit. Otherwise, do not expect a long game. Just dinosaurs lol 😂.

Визуально игра выполнена на высоком уровне, модели динозавров впечатляют своей детализацией, а окружение кажется живым и дышащим. Эффект присутствия в виртуальной реальности просто потрясающий – чувствуешь себя настоящим палеонтологом, попавшим в доисторический период. Понравилась интерактивность: можно рассматривать скелеты динозавров, искать артефакты и наблюдать за животными в их естественной среде обитания. Экскурсии проводятся интересно, информация подается доступно и увлекательно, даже для тех, кто далек от палеонтологии. Управление достаточно простое и интуитивное, что даёт возможность полностью погрузиться в процесс изучения динозавров. Единственное, хотелось бы большего разнообразия в интерактивных элементах и расширить карту доступных локаций. Но даже в текущем виде Dino Tour VR – это прекрасный VR-экспириенс, который оставит массу положительных впечатлений. Рекомендую всем любителям динозавров и виртуальной реальности!

Dino Tour VR is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, Dino Tour VR is a software application that is a garbage 2 minute long VR video where you are carried on the back of a dinosaur and look at a couple of other dinosaurs. I think the dinosaurs are probably asset flipped. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that player by shooting them or being shot, the computer rewards the player if they win, and then if the player survives, they repeat that loop. There's no loop here, no true interactive feedback. It simply is not a game, it cannot be "played". This has misleadingly been launched in the "Games" sec…

An absolute atrocity that really puts on display how lucky we are that VR got past this era of shovelware fairly fast. Although if you're tech demoing VR for a friend, I'd recommend just starting this up and seeing their reaction, still a 1/10 tho. (Also disclaimer, if you're prone to motion sickness at ALL, stay away. This has some very glitchy camera moments).

The program will not allow you to drop food. Cant get further than the first 30 seconds. Sad because it could be a good program.
