About Disc Room

Are you ready to get sliced in half? The year is 2089 and a giant disc has appeared in orbit of Jupiter. Step into the oversized space suit of a brave scientist and explore this sprawling intergalactic slaughterhouse.

Explore the expansive orbiting disc ship, moving room to room surviving and completing increasingly complex goals set forth. Use unlocked abilities to outmaneuver dozens of different disc types while solving mysterious puzzles.

And remember: what kills you only makes you stronger.

Disc Room is a collaboration between Kitty Calis, Jan Willem Nijman, Terri Vellmann and Doseone.

The game feels kinda small in terms of levels, but the devs packed a ton of interesting things into those levels. There's some very cryptic but fun puzzles going on. Feels like exploring an alien structure you found orbiting Jupiter. Also feels like a minimalist, but very fun indie game about not touching the giant spinning discs.

The game is quite fun for a short time, but by the time you hit the dark levels where the lights go out, or flash, or you can only see at all using the slow motion ability for a limited period, it just loses any entertainment value it had and becomes a boring slog instead. Sure, I could randomly survive ten seconds by pushing inputs and hoping that I don't run into a saw blade I can't see on a black screen, but why bother? The game isn't worth it. The levels where you can actually see what you're avoiding are fun, but those levels just killed the game for me and I dropped it. Worth a buck or two for an hour but I can't imagine wasting my time to finish it by just hoping i beat the RNG nonsense in pitch blackness.

Wish there was a "meh" option. Too much rng is required if your trying to get all achievement. There is a difficulity adjust option, but that feels cheap...

Just good, you can afront a lot of challenges, each one more demanding, some times a little frustrating, but nothing with a little of effort you can't solve, in other hand I don't think I would play this again once I've finished the game, it's like a one-time experience
