If you want a kid-friendly Marvel game with significantly more content to play through, there are three LEGO Marvel games that could suffice. Even if you wanted to solely play The Toybox mode, you could just get 3.0 and have everything from the first two games included too.1 found this helpful

Disney Infinity 2.0 was good overall. I played through all three Play Sets, and they were all pretty enjoyable. The quests were fun and gave me plenty to do. The highlight for me was definitely the Spider-Man Play Set. It was easily the best one and the most fun to play. The combat and movement felt great, and I enjoyed it much more than the others. The UI is also a nice improvement over Disney Infinity 1.0. Everything feels cleaner and easier to navigate. Overall, I had a good time with Disney Infinity 2.0, and now it's time to move on to Disney Infinity 3.0. 8/10.
