What a huge disappointment. When I saw the graphics and intro video I was so exited, then I was greeted with multiple action moves and I thought myself "damn, this is one of those hell of a rare jewel quality student projects". Normally if a student project is bad and if I played it less than half an hour I simply ignore the product and erase from my library, do not even give it a review because it isn't worth it for a super mario copy in the end of first quarter of 21st century. But a game like this, it hurts my soul and hence why it deserves a review. There are ungodly amounts of UI glitches it makes the gameplay impossible. Random cinematic black bars popping up, explosion orange color all of a sudden blinds you permanently, randomly falling into the oblivion, buttons randomly stop working in the middle of shooting and all of a sudden miraculously work again. You know all the classic bugs that pisses any gamer off. Yes, these fellas nailed it. They did the living hell. All the annoying bugs and glitches are all present here. I am sorry but here is my review. Graphics designers please go work for AAA studios as you guys nailed it and very much capable of. Atmosphere, art style, e…

Fun and short indie third person shooter. Played with a PS4 controller. The time reversal mechanic was interesting. Found the combat to be fun especially against the boss. Do give it a try.

I woke up after a series of surreal dreams in order to start my new morning routine, and immediately this may have resulted in a preconceived intransigence despite lots of easy appeals for me such as voice acting. The bug with the divergence tutorial was by all means a confirmation of my bias, but several things pointed toward a design that was dissatisfied: several paths loop back around to previous areas, some of them without drawn collision causing me to get stuck in the silo of darkness. The pace of the weapon and damaging enemies feels sophisticated but not refined, as several inputs get randomly eaten and I find more peculiar tricks to make it bearable such as tap-firing at the top of the overheat for a faster rate of fire, or breaking the balls' limbs to expose weak points. The game would be a sufficient single-Land enterprise if its explicit directives were focused to that end, rather than a single broken doorway setpiece coated in combat with a lot of sauce but lacking a core texture. The hoplite figures, taken together with everything feel like a promise unfulfilled; when a pipeline is built for something as enterprising as VA, it'd do well to exhaust its capacity, even …

(game complete at .5 hours) yep I'd recommend it. It's not a full game it's a student project but you know what it's pretty fun for a proof of concept and I really hope the developers continued making games. It's a shame this one didn't go longer as the concept is unique and interesting there is a bunch of stuff that could be improved but as its free to play I would absolutely give it a go. It only took me 30 minutes to finish so a much better gamer could probally beat it in 20 or less.

Fantastic Digipen student project, love the art style and music! Combat and gameplay is innovated with the Divergence mechanic. Takes about a half hour to beat, quite a bit of action compacted within there, so kudos all around!

Pretty cool (and short) shooter game! Liked the overall ancient greek but futuristic art style, fast-paced shooter with some kinda time-manipulation shenanigans gameplay, and its somewhat difficult boss fight at the end to top it all off. I could see the future potential in expanding in this otherwise student project of a game!
