About Don't Break

Awkward physics

Master the slippery, bouncy movement of a potion bottle. Every jump demands perfect timing, angling, and speed control.

Death...everywhere

There are no safe zones. Title screen? Game lobby? Even checkpoints? All of them are potential death traps. One bad landing, and you shatter.

Pick your poison

Use optional checkpoints to save progress, but at a cost. Choose wisely. Not every risk is worth it.

Short but brutal

Fewer levels, higher skill ceiling. It’s a concentrated, punishing experience that’s incredibly rewarding to overcome.

Lore-accurate difficulty

Beat the game on normal? Try “lore-accurate” mode. It’s the way it was meant to be played… and you probably won’t survive.

✦ AI summary

Players are sharply divided on this challenging platformer. Those who enjoy it praise the satisfying difficulty, random level order that prevents monotony, and creative level themes beyond standard platforming mechanics, comparing it favorably to games like Jump King. However, others find the game frustratingly difficult and poorly explained, with positioning mechanics that feel unfair and lead to quick frustration rather than engaging challenge.

There aren't too many levels, but the challenge is real and is satisfying once you finally beat a level. And the order of levels is also random, so it doesn't always feel like I'm stuck in one place, which helps to refresh my motivation to win. If you want to play a game that has similar feel to "Jump King" or any other rage platformer with weird physics, try it out. I also like how some levels aren't simply platforming skill checks, but have unique themes to them like the rhythm one, and the one where you try to boop the egg into a goal.
