DOOM SPIRAL is a psychotic first-person shooter where your sanity is the only health bar that matters.
\You jacked into their mainframe looking for dirt, but they were waiting. Now your psyche is trapped in their wires while your meat-body is flatlining in a basement.Make your way up through the nightmare spiral labyrinth tower, battling VOID GHOSTS and trying to stay SANE. This game is, aesthetically, one of my favourite games I've ever played. Not to mention, I very much enjoy the gameplay too. Honestly, I could ramble on and on about how much I've enjoyed the time I've spent playing this game so far, but I feel like just saying that gives enough of an impression of my feelings. I would 100% recommend this game to people who enjoy fast-paced, visually intensive shooters (like me). I'd also like to say that, in contrast to the other review, I personally don't mind the aiming or touchy strafing, or some of the things in the game not being explicitly stated. I enjoy the difficulty, the shortness on the timer is fine, and I also don't mind not knowing what I died to. But, in the end, what use is a review if I don't also offer some criticism. In particular, I'd like to extend upon a point initially made by that other reviewer. That point being that you can mostly just ignore the vertical lines. I honeslty didn't even realise they were anything more than visual flare. Of course, I probably haven't gotten far enough in the game for it to be super relevant (like 12000 score, if that means anything), but I just wish they felt more impactful. i fw the game alot, very fast, very fun, very intense. id just build into this and keep adding on. 10/10.

well made game, I enjoyed it (took an hour) I won't go into detail about how to beat it, however, pretty clever puzzle
Very fun and chaotic. The mechanics, mostly health and movement, were confusing at first but very enjoyable to learn how everything works while sliding around the enemies and bouncing past their shots. What I loved the most was having to learn how the game works in the short time available while the world melts away. Despite the chaotic visuals, it's easy to track the world, enemies and cores. I've also had a lot of fun playing the itch demo before it released here, so I might just be used to tracking the world.
