Dot Clicker is a surprisingly stylish aim trainer, and I liked how much personality it gives to something that could easily have been a very basic collection of target clicking exercises. The Neo Japanese setting gives the whole experience a darker and more atmospheric feel, while the actual aiming challenges stay focused on precision and speed. I found it much easier to stay interested than I usually am with a completely barebones aim trainer. The main gameplay revolves around clicking targets as accurately and quickly as possible. I have different scenarios that let me work on my precision, reaction speed and consistency, and I liked how immediately responsive the game feels. Every mistake is easy to notice, which makes me want to replay the same challenge and see whether I can improve my score. The challenge mode is where I found myself spending the most time. There is progression and reward built around improving my performance, so it does not feel like I am simply repeating the same exercise with no purpose.
