Down With Hell: Crystal

This a good old-school platformer. First pass is easy to medium difficulty, NG+ is hard (and annoying) but doable cause enemies move in a specific way you can learn how to avoid. All achievements are obtainable, too. Give it a try [8/10]

This was a short but enjoyable little game. I did think NG+ could be a bit "trial and error" gameplay-wise with some enemy layouts (especially the purple dinos, they are FAST), but it wasn't too difficult overall. I do have a few criticisms • The player character can move so fast at times, it sometimes results in you accidentally falling to your death or into hazards when you didn't mean to. I was able to acclimate to it, but it might throw some people off. • There really should be an in-game volume slider. Blew my ears out a couple times when the game loaded because I didn't adjust my Volume Mixer before booting it up. • I killed the Water Boss on the same frame it used its Water Laser attack, and despite the boss dying its attack still had an active hitbox and killed me, resetting the boss. Probably should disable the attack hitboxes when the boss dies. Solid 2D Platformer.

A platform shooter with lots of fun levels to blast through and die a lot. The game has funny diologue nice level design and a fun playstyle. Would love to see what kinds of projects this could lead into.

I liked this game, it has a solid good platforming game. Requires some tweaks here and there to make it better, but as a free-to-play game, it has a solid foundation and it's good enough. Hope the developer keeps going.

This game is really something special. It took me a little messing around, but i mapped a SNES usb controller just for this game lol. Totally worth it! The controls in this are smooth.... But the game is challenging. I'm old, so i may be biased, but the graphics, colors and the music really feel cozy and nostalgic. I grew up playing NES platformer shooters like bionic commando and blaster master, so this game takes me back. This is going on my list of games to share with friends. Thank you for this gem! 10/10

This game feels like a throwback to old-school indie titles. Raw, unforgiving, and laser-focused on gameplay over hand-holding. You will die. A lot. Early runs are brutal, and sometimes it feels like the game exists purely to humble you. But that’s also the charm. It captures that classic indie vibe where repetition is the teacher and every death slowly makes you better. Combat is fast and chaotic, and when a run finally clicks, it feels earned 🤍
