Dragon Forge is an incremental base-building adventure game about managing massive amounts of resources by foraging and crafting. Born a dragon in a cursed land, you must work to lift the curse by creating abundance.
BECOME AN EXTREMELY POWERFUL DRAGON
You’re born a dragon that has much to learn but destined to be as powerful as the ancients. You’ll learn to attack, jump, fly, swim, and breathe fire, poison and lightning. As you gain experience you will level up and become completely unstoppable.
BUILD A GREAT CITY AND CRAFT UPGRADES, EQUIPMENT, AND MAGICAL GEMS
Gather resources like wood, stone, iron and coal wherever you go. Use them to build an expansive city that is constantly automated by your swarm of very talented Goblin Minions. Then upgrade your city buildings to produce more and better resources at truly enormous scales. You’ll also discover and cook over 30 unique food recipes to maintain your energy level and unlock a variety of nice bonuses to take advantage of.
EXPLORE A BEAUTIFUL SPRAWLING WORLD OF CURSED LANDS
An entire world is waiting to be unlocked. Every area is cursed and you must gain mana to unlock them as you explore. You’ll discover over 80 wild areas and several big biomes each with their own unique resources, epic enemies, tricky puzzles, intriguing quests, satisfying rewards, interesting characters, and wonderful hidden treasures. There’s always something more to be admired and explored.
LEARN FROM THE DRAGON FORGE
Over 100 wonderful fables of ancient wisdom can be learned. Written over 2,500 years ago and passed down from generation to generation, these righteous fables teach a variety of elite virtues and ethics. Included with each fable are phenomenal 200-year-old woodcut illustrations to inspire your imagination and strengthen your moral compass.

Oh Spirits...What do I say about this game... I am fairly certain that it will become a guilty pleasure for some of you purely due to being not-terrible and having a cute dragon in it (which is, no doubt, the core selling point - it could be a wise question to ask: Would you bother at all if there was no dragon?). However I need to look at it soberly and given the game is like a Beta or Early Access that was made finish-able and shipped out I cannot recommend it to anyone with clear conscience. Although I won't stop you if you're curious or just want some simple dragon gameplay and NOTABLE resource grind (oh the 3 rare ones...) considering the price was halved since release and it still gets on sale. Technically the game seems feature-complete but nothing there feels properly finished or fleshed out. There is a skeleton to every mechanic or feature but that's it so how about we go through them: The Dragon part: We play as a hatchling that we can only somewhat customize upon starting New Game. The editor however is very poor allowing a few pre-set color/patter setups and multiple sliders for sizes of the horns on its body. So forget about even coloring your dragon as you please. Pros: 1) You can play a dragon and as the good guy Cons: 1) Insanely grindy 2) even if you have the available gear for the section you are in, the mobs can still pretty much one shot you.1 found this helpful

Unique take on base building/RTS. I really enjoyed my time with it!
Dragon Forge is an incremental adventure game that is easy to pick up and play. It's also a good choice if these kind of games are new to you. There are things to do and collectables to find in the world when waiting for mana production and when you discover where the bottlenecks are you'll earn mana very quickly and you'll also earn mana when the game is not running, meaning you'll have a nice amount of mana to use after a good night's sleep. You also play as a dragon which is real cool.
