Falling
Dragon Hop is all about getting as high as you can get, to see all this world has to offer. Naturally, slipping, falling, and trying again plays a big part in that. Your journey will be hard, but there are ways for the keen-eyed and curious to make it easier.Treasures
If you like exploring, in Dragon Hop you shall be greatly rewarded, as there are plenty of treasures scattered around the world, waiting for you to find them! Found a hidden door? There's likely a golden chest waiting on the other side. See a cave entrance? Time for spelunking! Who knows what kind of crystals may lie beneath the earth?Upgrades
Are your pockets full of treasures? Well, it's time to use them! Speak with your dragon guide to exchange crystals and learn new skills for your dragon. Gliding? No problem! Spitting fireballs? Bring on the heat! Flying? If you just believe, there shall be nothing stopping you from touching the sky!Obstacles
Your path shall not be easy. Sometimes a well-calculated jump will not be enough: you may have to dodge some nasty traps too! Be sure to keep on your feet in those moments, otherwise you could face a few setbacks. Some obstacles can move indeed, but some are straight up sentient! Watch out for these creatures. They are here to make your journey more difficult. Will you try to outsmart them or give them a taste of fiery heat? Up to you!
Interactions
Having a hard time hopping? See if you can use your environment to your advantage. From riding animals, to activating forgotten constructs - sailing boats to opening portals, never shy away from some exploring. Curiosity kills cats, not dragons!Clues
Why are you here? What happened? What’s the point to any of this? These are great questions. Perhaps the answers don’t even matter, we could just be here for fun. But maybe…, just maybe there is more to this chaotic world than meets the eye. Let’s see if you can unravel the mystery…Difficulty
Not a fan of hardcore platforming? Try Exploration mode! Dragon Hop aims to bridge the gap between those who like to suffer a bit and those who are just looking for a cosy ride.In Exploration mode you can look for Feathers to unlock checkpoints with, and save your progress. It’s good for some practice too! However, should you choose Hardcore mode, you shall be rewarded with special appearances and additional achievements for your efforts.Happy Hopping!

A delightful little game with challenging (but rewarding) platforming and exploration. If you like dragons then you should give this game a playthrough! A treat from start to finish1 found this helpful
This is a super fun and cute platformer game with a lot of challenging platforming. I had a lot of fun playing it but I do also have to mention that I will not be playing it for a while due to a few issues I have with the gameplay that I feel need to be implemented/cleaned up further for a good experience. Going to write my issues down below, this doesn't mean I don't recommend the game, but there are a lot of things to be vary of when going into this I feel. Things that I personally feel need to be updated/fixed before I can fully enjoy and commit to playing the game: - Player character floaty-ness: Currently your Player character is very floaty. Meaning the movements feel a little bit all over the place and makes it hard to telegraph the movements of your dragon. This ends up making it quite difficult to accurately predict and plan your jumps and movement. When on the ground and landing from a jump, it's almost like you're on ice. I noticed multiple times that my character moved despite standing still. This is my biggest issue with the gameplay of this game. The core mechanic needs to be a lot snappier and easier to telegraph before I could sink many hours into this game. I…1 found this helpful
I bought this game for fun because I don't really know what to play these days, and I've actually had a ton of fun with this. It's something to pass the time, but be aware 748 M in, your dragon goes through a serious acid trip and starts moving the opposite way xD.
Game had a few bugs and bad geometry, but it was fixed.
Surprisingly fun for surprisingly little $$$. If you like 3D precision platforming with collectables this is an easy buy.
An adorable little platforming adventure. I was initially wary of how many free assets the game used, but it's clear from the continuous updates and care put into the game that the developer is making the most of what they have access to. The abilities are a little underwhelming at first- but it's clearly intentional-- the game is meant to be focused around mastery of the platforming, the glide and flight and etc. are clearly meant to mitigate how much you fall rather than directly help you get around. It'd be nicer if that were a bit more clearly communicated. I had fun with it! I'm very grateful for the inclusion of checkpoints. While the threat of falling a huge distance and losing a lot of progress can be appealing to some players- I'm definitely the sort of player that just wanted a nice and cozy dragon experience- which I'm happy to say I got! It'd be nice if there were some sort of upgrade to the flight ability you can get from beating the game or something that's able to be used infinitely, for players who want to explore the various environments for the lore and collectibles they missed, without having to repeatedly jump off from the highest point or do repeat playth…
