About Wallachia: Reign of Dracula
Wallachia Reign of Dracula is a retro-styled action platformer/shooter game. It features a cast of professional voice actors including Kira Buckland and Robert Belgrade. The game also features a unique soundtrack, and a story based on the history of Vlad the Impaler, rather than typical vampire myths. In addition to it's action packed 7 levels, the game includes loads of bonus content and mini games, as well as unlockable official crossover content from Bloodstained Ritual of the Night. Players take on the role of a new protagonist named Elcin Floarea to take on Vlad Dracula and free Wallachia of it's tyrant ruler once and for all.

Recommended if you enjoy oldschool Arcade-style games, otherwise you'll probably find the difficulty very frustrating. It's a bit rough around the edges, but still fun to play.1 found this helpful

Absolute broken trash DO NOT BUY THIS - shooting doesnt work correctly and she simply refuses to shoot sometimes - no sound options whatsoever - almost zero post hit invul, making u take 4 hits in a row without u being able to do anything about it - no resolution options whatsoever and the resolutions is super weird devs probably never played a sidescroller before (or any game most likely)
Wallachia is a rare hidden gem if you ask me. It actually understands what made the classics so great and timeless. It's a true arcade-inspired action platformer. The game is fairly short and can be beaten in a single session but it's got some extra content and is designed for mastery which if you want to extend the play time a bit further is worth putting in the effort to 100% the game. I haven't finished Hard mode yet but I found Normal mode to be a fair challenge. It's got an old school lives system here so it is a bit punishing when you game over and are sent back to the beginning of a stage, but the stages are fairly short so it didn't really bother me until Stage 7 which has it's checkpoints pushed towards the end of the stage, but I mastered that whole stage in about 15 minutes anyway. Beating it hitless lol. You also lose powerups if you get hit a single time, but keeping them makes you feel like a total bad @$$ and as you learn the stage layouts and enemy behaviors, you'll be completing stages almost hitless pretty quickly if you got moderate skill. Ridiculous that the game has no support or updates. I like it, if it would stop having so many bugs and freezing, and crashed a few times.
