Drop Alive

Drop Alive takes a wonderfully simple premise and develops it into a charming puzzle-platforming adventure centered on an adventurous water droplet trying to escape a house and return to a nearby river. Developed by Invi Games and published by Ipsilon Developments, it immediately establishes a playful personality through its hand-drawn presentation and unusual protagonist. The story itself remains deliberately uncomplicated, allowing the journey and environmental challenges to become the main attraction. Everyday household objects are transformed into enormous obstacles from the droplet's tiny perspective, creating an imaginative sense of scale that gives otherwise familiar locations a surprising amount of character. Drop Alive is a cute little platform game where I play as a water drop trying to make my way through a house and eventually reach a nearby river. The idea is simple, but I actually like how much the game builds around being made of water. I can move through the levels, avoid hazards and change between liquid, solid and gas forms depending on what I need to get past. It is the sort of game that looks very harmless at first, but some of the later sections can be surprisingly awkward and difficult. The different forms are easily my favourite part. As a liquid I can move normally, while ice lets me deal with certain surfaces and steam gives me a completely different way of moving through the level. I have to pay attention to the environment because water, heat and other objects can change what state I am in. I like that the game does not just give me three forms for the sake of having three forms. They are actually tied into the level design, so I have to think about which state is useful before I move forward. cute nice platformer game its very simple and the idea of ice and exhausted cloud gameplay is nice adding more levels can make it a good small price platformer game
