About Dual Chroma: Academy Carols
Dual Chroma: Academy Carols is a short prequel to our upcoming game: Dual Chroma, a fantasy romance visual novel. Select your magic type, pronouns and name and enter a magical world with other arcane students!
Story:
Winter break has come to Aradal. Unable to afford the journey back home, you brace yourself for a long snowfall alone at the Magic Academy, only to find you aren't the last student left on campus. What's more, among your newfound festive companions is the popular and typically unapproachable Prince Keldrannon - the last person you'd expect to stay.
What begins as a sad and solitary wintertide soon thaws into the promise of something far more precious. Warmth, friendship, perhaps even love.
A thoroughly merry and magical celebration may await you, after all.

While I enjoyed this quite a bit, I cannot in good conscious recommend it to my fellow LGBTQ+ folks You can customize your gender in this prequel to the upcoming game, but in the upcoming game you are forced to play as a woman It feels like a bit of a cruel tease to experience these characters only to not get to play the next game cause playing as a woman feels uncomfortable to me. If you don't mind being able to customize your gender and then having to change for the next game, then by all means, play this one. It's sweet, and it made me feel nice that for once, as a man, I get a princely character romantically Alas, as is usual, we gays don't get the prince in the end5 found this helpful

Good art
Good music
Good voice acting
Wholesome story

Game takes 20 minutes, so:
Unexplained, under-developed romance
Unresolved sub-plots
I'm recommending this game because it's high-quality within the realm of indie otome games. I can imagine this being a product of a short game jam, which would make this product impressive. I have no idea if that's true though, but given this assumed scope, it's high quality.
Short and sweet.
A short but fun play. I wish we had more time with the characters.
