Quick games with a dedicated developer pushing new updates. Most players I played against don't have all the cards unlocked which made for some quality matches filled with unknown deck types. I consider this a plus rather than a negative. Unlocking cards is a grind but this also allows for exploring more creative deck types. Overall very impressed with the mobile client and game experience.2 found this helpful
The Blitz system is a great update to the classic formula of Duelyst and I enjoy it a lot. The lucky gold acquisition is fairly generous, but a bit of RNG. The game is as fun as in the old days. I would like more people play Gauntlet mode. New players should also get a bit of upfront card packs to get going.1 found this helpful

I have had some technical challenges personally trying to play Blitz through Steam, but the game itself is a really solid fast-paced version of the game. As someone that kickstarted the original Duelyst and has played it off and on for years, I highly recommend giving it a try!1 found this helpful
