What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players criticize the game for being tedious, poorly explained, and mechanically unfinished, citing frustrating quality-of-life issues like accidental position changes, unfair delivery deadlines, and employees getting stuck on objects. The core gameplay lacks depth with oversimplified progression systems and minimal need for most staff types, while technical bugs and the lack of developer support (abandoned after early access in favor of a sequel) have left players feeling the game was released in an unpolished state that fails to justify its cost.

Imagine - this game never got update after 0.5 version. Instead, developer released E-Startup 2 in 2024 (6 years after this game came out). I don't know what how everyone sees it, but for me - it seems developer abandoned 1st game to pursue 2nd one instead. I like premise of this game, it has lots of potential, but I will not buy 2nd part, because I don't think I can trust same developer again.1 found this helpful
The game is super tedious. There's truly no quality of life features in the game - You can very easily accidentally change someones position without even trying - The delivery times are really unfair and offer no time to breathe. As well as how they keep going even when the employees aren't present - Even if you buy things for your employees to make them happy, or send them on vacation. They still end up losing mood and quitting - Either A or Q (i forgot) can rotate items even in play mode - Employees get caught on objects and can't move = can't work - The game doesn't explain much to you, leaving you confused. (Like what do designers even do?) If this game was free, it'd still be a negative review.
Extremely boring, totally unfinished game No progression (you don't need all these land plots - just buy the cheapest one) To make money you don't need any staff members but worker and deliverer To make all the production you need only one machine - no techs, no chains, no nothing The game is glitchy - staff going to their workplaces through walls often getting stuck
this game is very hard to understand and u loose money when ppl are not hired so its a dumb game
