About Earthworms
Play as a psychic detective unraveling a missing girl case that spirals into a mind-bending global conspiracy across 34 gorgeously hand-painted surrealist locations. This atmospheric point-and-click adventure combines Hopper-inspired art, existential horror, twisted logic puzzles, and darkly comedic storytelling into an unforgettable descent into weirdness.
Plot:
You play as a private detective named Daniel White, who is endowed with parapsychic abilities. Visions that he gets, help him to solve investigations. At first glance, the case that you are part of is about missing teenage girl who's from a small fishing village. With every next location, you will experience more and more weird situations and discover that everything is leading to a big global conspiracy. If you think that is only summer walk through the fishing village, you are wrong. This is an epic adventure which will blow your mind.

A very short and strange point and click game, with a strange investigation in strange locations and a detective with a strange sense of humor. From the very first seconds, our investigation begins strangely, but it is precisely this strange and offbeat aspect that I liked. The music and graphics perfectly reinforce the story's surreal atmosphere. It’s an adventure that blends various themes: detective story, horror, retro sci-fi, and comedy. A great mix that I would have liked to see go further into the surreal, the adventure unfortunately ending a little too quickly. The gameplay sticks to classic point-and-click conventions without being overly difficult. One small detail I really liked: whenever you visit a new screen for the first time, the detective you control offers a brief description. These are often delivered with a comic, cynical tone that I found amusing. On the downside, there are bugs. None of them are game-breaking, but I found myself replaying certain sequences or dialogue lines multiple times. I also managed to duplicate items I’d already used and even skipped a puzzle entirely. buggy as ♥♥♥♥ high cpu usage
If you do not play the game exactly as intended, prepare to be softlocked. Oh you did not do some cryptic thing that was never mentioned anywhere, did not get the flask, talk to the spirit and now your pickaxe use is "a waste of time" instead opening the brick wall. This game is dull and is back-to-back-to-back puzzles that have nothing to do with the plot or anything. The developer likes hiding progression vital items behind rocks that are 100 % not visible unless you move your character to a specific spot. The stupidest part is that they never mention why this "detective" is there in the first place. "A waste of time" indeed, this game is.
Lame
It is a pretty cool, but after playing it through one time its not really hooking me. Its well made but not too intersting for me. Still recommendable
