About Elemental Defender

Elemental Defender is a tower defense game using card to power up your units. Build your deck and place powerful units to defend your base from passing enemies.

Main Game

Purpose of this game is to defend your base from enemies passing through the path. By placing the unit on the field, unit will attack the enemy in the range.  Unit can be powered up by using  cards before placing the unit.  Placing units and using cards requires energy.

Energy

Left bottom circle shows the energy you can use in this wave (upper number) and maximum energy (bottom number).  In each wave energy will be reset to the maximum energy.  You can play cards and place units within a energy.  The number in the top left corner of a unit card and the playable card is the energy required to use it.  There are cards that increases the maximum energy and the energy.  By increasing the energy, there will be more things you can do within the wave.

Element

Each units and the enemies have elements.  When unit attacks the enemies, damage will increases or decreases depends  of the element of unit and enemy.  You can check the effect in the unit status.  For example, if the unit is thunder, damage will increase by 150% against ice and 120% against fire.

Unit

Unit has three basic status and they are attack, range and speed.  Attack is a number that indicates how much damage you can inflict on an enemy.  Range indicates how far a unit can attack. It will be shown when you are placing unit by blue circle. Speed is the interval between attack.  Some unit has skill or special. Skill is the permanent effect that unit owns. It will be automatically effected. Special can be activated after a unit has attacked a certain number of times. You can ether play special manually or automatically and can be set in settings.

Shop

In the shop you can purchase items, cards, and additional units. As you progress through the stages, more units will become available.

Difficulty

Each stage, you can select the difficulty level.  Easy mode, you will obtain a random item every 5 waves.

I'm enjoying the game but I keep getting these debuff cards that seem to glitch and prevent placing any tower or card, carry across stages, and I can't disable them. The cards that say they discard one of your cards when drawn.
