it was very fun and challenging. its turn based game and have step limit before you failed the mission, meaning the game is not mean to annihilate entire enemies on map. the game are meant to play with you reaching objective as soon as possible while surviving enemies. it also quite punishing game, even on normal mode. if you only have tier one unit, you wont survive. you literally cant let single unit die if you want finish all mission on normal mode, so if you finish one quest with silver trophy you got one bonus unit and enough gold to upgrade your unit. its very suited if you want test your strategic skill with this game. its early model for 4x game, its a dollar deal worth your time. its easy to pickup and dive in. the story are generic high fantasy except you play as elf that annihilate entire species, either human or monster. it really live up my fantasy to be evil high elf

Does not work on Win11, after a couple of turns the game gets into black screen and requires signing off WIn to terminate because cannot switch to Task Manager , so totally unplayable for me. I understand it's an old title, and I got it for free with another purchase, thus no hard feelings, just not recommended for modern PC. Got no error message or code and have no idea what is the actual issue.

While the core systems are functional and some unit designs are interesting, the overall experience feels slow and generic in execution. Missions tend to drag due to pacing issues, and despite new units being introduced, the gameplay loop doesn’t evolve enough to stay engaging. Compared to stronger games in the genre, it feels like a lower-budget alternative rather than a distinct experience. In my case, it was also a game I played more out of limited options at the time than genuine enjoyment.
