Good idea for a game, but it has a long ways to go and there hasn't been updates for several months. Pretty sure its abandoned. Will change review if it starts getting updates again.2 found this helpful
Absolutely loving the atmosphere and the concept. Huge fan of alien isolation and this game takes a lot of influence from that game. That said, it still needs some work before i can really sink any reasonable amount of playtime into it. The radar should be more like the Alien Isolation one where all players have one, it stays open when holding a button, and it can be opened in lockers. That way we know when to come out of lockers. Xenoids shouldnt open lockers just because theyre close to them. Players should be able to move around in lockers to get a better view of whats outside. Xenoids should actually go away after the player hides long enough. Etc. I havent seen any adaptive AI either but that could also be helpful. As could additional things to do such as other enemy types, tasks, storyline, etc. Perhaps there's more than what I'm seeing so far but honestly i havent been able to get very far yet on the default campaign settings. Still, despite my suggestions here, I love what im seing so far and really really hope to see this game evolve. Having a game this similar to Alien Isolation is fantastic. I love the concept, the atmosphere, the ability to play in co-op, etc. Easy to r…2 found this helpful
2 found this helpful
If I could give one piece of advice to anyone looking at this store page: DO NOT JUDGE THIS BOOK BY ITS COVER. I took a total gamble on this one. Between the small review count and the somewhat basic art style, I wasn't sure what to expect. But after sinking some time into it, I’m genuinely glad I pulled the trigger. This is an EXCELLENT piece of indie horror! Obviously, the game takes heavy inspiration from Alien: Isolation. But make no mistake, this is not so much a copy, but rather a love letter. At least, that's my interpretation. The game features four distinct characters, each with their own unique abilities and starting gear. It’s a nice touch that adds a ton of replay value. And despite its Early Access tag; there's a full game here. A full campaign and a procedurally generated "Survival mode" with tons of replay value. You'll spend most of your time scavenging for resources/weapons/tools/objectives while hiding from the alien and navigating the procedurally generated ship, while occasionally being hit with ship malfunctions you have to address. If the malfunctions are ignored, the game is made harder via consequences. Side note: I want to mention how I especially l…
