- VR driven game-play mechanics: Perform true-to-life physical actions that immerse you deep inside the world of Contagion.
- Single player campaign spanning 4 captivating, multi-part missions.
- Many unique zombie archetypes. Ranging from slow, shambling fodder, to large, charging and well armored Riot Zombies, you’ll never be lacking for targets... or threats.
- An entire arsenal of firearms littered throughout the missions, as well as piles of melee weapons of all shapes, sizes and colors. Also grenades. And chainsaws.
- Free Roam mode, where you can play indefinitely, collect resources and slay as many zombies for as long as you like (or at least, as long as you can last!)
- Firing Range mode with all the weapons available at your fingertips in one place. Practice your aim, go for the high score, and try not to blow yourself up. Infinite ammo and more guns than what should be legally allowable, this is a good place to play to get used to the weapons of Contagion in a relatively safe space.

For a couple bucks, it can be fun, but with all the bugs and devs just dipping, I cannot suggest someone playing it personally. You can bug out in the tutorial, that early only isn't a good sign. The game loads things in at around 3ft away which is a real eyesore. Guns, actually feel decent, but they added the MLG hitmarker sound when you hit zombies in the head which was funny at first, but then lost its charm and just felt awful. Zombies health was extremely random, one could die in 3 hits to the head, then that exact same zombie model would be down the hall and take 8 or 9 hits to the head. Melee combat felt so awful due to it taking double digit hits to kill 1 zombie, this caused me to just shoot at all times or run if I didn't have any ammo. Funny enough I saw a dev comment on one of these reviews saying that after they released contagion they continued updating and adding content for a long time and that was the plan here. And suddenly they just dropped this game. It could've been great and honestly if the zombie's weren't so immune to bullets, I could easily over look a lot of the other poor choices.3 found this helpful

Contagion VR has extremely broken mechanics, DO NOT BUY.
This game offers a lot of playtime and fun survival horror action, several stories that are not short. The immersivity of the weapons handling is a little hard to get, and can have issues at times.. but if you can forgive some small bugs you will have a good time... I'm still finishing the second story and I have already played for about 10 hours...
I forgot about this game in my library and thought I’d revisit it. For this being 2018, it’s great! Sure games have more polish with controls nowadays. But the graphics are decent, especially the gun detail. Levels are good and it’s a campaign. This blows away games like Requisition. It’s more like Living Remain. Not quite to the level of Saints and Sinners, but it’s worth a play through!
I guess it's just okay. To be honest, I got bored after playing for a while. I might come back someday. Be sure to grab it while it's on sale!
