What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
ERROR: Human Not Found receives mixed reception from players. Supporters praise its cyberpunk atmosphere, compelling story with philosophical themes about humanity in a digital world, and engaging gameplay that blends stealth, action, and puzzle-solving. Critics, however, dismiss it as a poorly constructed visual novel with minimal actual gameplay, describing the writing as cringeworthy fan-fiction and the puzzle mechanics as trivial point-and-click affairs that could work in a web browser rather than a full Steam release.

Make no mistake, however, if you think that you will be spared from pages and pages of high school anime club dropout fan-fiction tier cringe writing, you will get hours worth of it. Hours of cringe. The horrors are just beginning. So as always, we'll disregard the non-game cringe portions of this "game" and look at the game parts. Steam, for games, that's why we're here. Not e-books. What do you do in the game? The mini puzzles are really trite and pointless point and click affairs... in fact this whole thing could have been done in a web browser. Steam isn't here to compete with Firefox and Chrome. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, …
