What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate the game's excellent value at its low price point and generally well-made presentation with good graphics, though opinions on puzzle quality vary significantly. The main complaints center around puzzle difficulty that some find unfairly obscure or requiring excessive hint use, slow character movement that hampers the timed gameplay, and minor interface issues like lack of brightness settings and inventory navigation problems. Some players find the puzzles fair and enjoyable while others find them so convoluted that the game becomes frustrating rather than fun.
The "clues" or puzzles seem SO FAR FETCHED that, in my opinion, the puzzle game just isn't enjoyable to play. In fact, it is down right miserable to the point of just clicking on the hints became boring. But for 99 cents.... Try the Demo, if you can run it, and give it a try first. I haven't even played it two hours yet so I could 'probably' get my money back BUT: I just deleted the game from my machine and called it a day. The game was so miserable that I didn't even want to waste MORE time asking for a refund.1 found this helpful
Great fun but short. Considering the cost, great value! The puzzles were fun and not too difficult for two of us.1 found this helpful
Very good value for money - very good graphics - nice gameplay although hard to do it within the 1 hour time period. My only gripe with this game is the movement speed is far too slow and a game like this really should have a run option (especially when doing the buttons). Would be helpful to use the right mouse button to exit the inventory screen as well - interface gets in the way a little but overall this is a good game and worthy of a play. Please try it and support this great developer.1 found this helpful
I liked it. It had many puzzles. The game is not very easy, but I thought the puzzles were fair.
Very well made and enjoyable! All around well worth a dollar. Only thing missing is brightness options, I had to turn off lights in order to see some of the puzzles.
The game is too short for the price, and some of the puzzles are impossibly obscure.
