About Everlasting Abundance
Everlasting Abundance (the game) is set in a dystopian future where a AAA game company controls everything and pushes its predatory practices like loot boxes and forced gambling into the everyday lives of people. You play as an orphan teenager, and along with your little sister Kiyoko and your childhood friend Mirai, you will need to break out of your daily routine and join a faction of independent rebels called the Circle in order to try to defeat Everlasting Abundance (the regime). However, ushering in a new era of freedom isn't as easy as 1-2-3. Conflicts will arise. Tears will be shed. Meat & potatoes will be eaten. And the flowers will grow back... Probably.
This game is 3 to 4 hours long, has 4 different endings and an original soundtrack (heavily influenced by classic JRPG music). It also has a Story Mode if you want to breeze through the combat and mostly experience the narrative.

Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This RPG Maker asset flip eschews the usual high school anime club dropout fan-fiction about the authors imaginary fantasty anime girlfriend for a high school anime club fan-fiction about the authors imaginary sci-fi anime girlfriend. The writing is just as cringey, and follows a weak plot about a corporation that uses unethical pricing practices for video games. You know what else is unethical? Taking a bunch of RPG Maker assets and trying to get money off gamers for them. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG M…
