Short game, but fun. It has funny moments and nice humor. The art style and music are beautiful. There isn’t a lot of gameplay variation, but since the game is quite short, it didn’t really bother me. Runs great on Steam Deck. A perfect game for the winter season.1 found this helpful
Very fun and cute!
Charming little game, but feels like a warmup for Once Upon A Jester. Everything this game does, Jester does better, so play that one if you're only going to try one of Bonte Avond's games. They are a really cool studio and I'm looking forward to their next game.
I waited for the Xmas holidays just to catch the right mood to play this crazy game! Well, it's a cozy experience, don't expect too much, but I think it's well founded on sensitive moments and good values like friendship and tolerance. I do not want to walk into an exagerated analysis of a game that will entertain you for few hours, but it warmed me. The game mechanics are simple, you can choose to play fairly but you can also steal other contestants' accessories or sabotage the snowballs. Then, the creators Bonte Avond is a music band, so all the musics in the game are scored by them: it's pure craftmanship and I really appreciated it!! So, what else? Holy macaroni, enjoy the Wham Wham the Snowman-Man Snowman Building Festival, you creamy son of a sorbet!
Funny and cute snowman building game. The actual snowman building is pretty simple, though still done well, but the best part of the game is walking around afterwards and listening to the radio and the conversations in the background as they're often pretty funny. You can tell the guys who made this game had a great time of it. The main game is only about 2 hours long if you take your time, but there is a half-hour-ish epilogue to play as well to help resolve the story. There is technically some replayability if you want to see slightly different interactions or the endings with the other two characters winning (and they recorded unique end songs for them, which was a nice touch), but you get pretty much everything in one playthrough. 8/10 enjoyable game. Goes on sale for $2-4 if the pricetag is too steep for you.
Not really my type of game, 4/10 i suppose.
