it is good
I genuinely do not understand why you have to beat stage 2 on every difficulty before moving on to stage 3. I was having a decent time, but doing the same thing over and over again is not interesting. Also, why bother with difficulty settings if they aren't optional? Baffling choice. Otherwise it's fine. Not spectacular, but not bad. Kind of mixed on whether to put thumbs up or down here, but since the mentioned design choice is sapping my will to play the game, I'll go with down.
Fun little take on the usual 'horrific virus destroys world' simulator. Mainly because you can drop all sorts of fantastically terrifying disasters on the planet. It takes some time to trial-error the various systems and UI, but once you get the hang of it, destroying humanity has never been so fun. Plus it has a zoom mode, so you can literally drop tornados and meteors with delightful precision. YOU HEAR THAT MIKE? I'M DROPPING METEORS ON YOUR HOME TOWN. AND I'LL KEEP DOING IT! FORGET MY BIRTHDAY WILL YOU JER- Ahem. Sorry. Yes. Solid disaster simulator. Turn all those lil milling people icons into gravestones. Laugh maniacally while doing it for full effect.
Overall, a good game. Not brilliant, but good. 6.5/10.
many players may encounter a glitch in the 2nd prologue trying to deploy storms on the chosen territory on the map
Super fun dropping cluster bombs on people while they're trying to make it to the Ark to stop choking on volcanic ash!!
