Face The Abyss

Face The Abyss is a multiplayer horror game that I found most interesting because it completely changes the balance of power depending on which side I play. One player becomes the Stalker while the other survivors have to work together to escape a dangerous research facility. I liked the basic setup because it creates tension through uncertainty rather than simply putting everyone on equal footing. Playing as the Stalker feels very different from being part of the Crew. The Stalker has psychic abilities that can damage the survivors' sanity and can even destroy parts of the environment, while the Crew has to search the facility, find useful items and work out how to escape. I enjoyed that difference because the two sides are solving completely different problems during the same match. The limited visibility is one of the most effective parts of the design. The Crew has to rely heavily on sound, positioning and careful movement because I cannot always see what is coming. I liked that because it makes the environment itself feel dangerous. me and my 3 friends are trying to join but the parties only show for 2 people, and dont show for the other 2.

I actually have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea why this game is so underrated sure you need 4 people to play but it is so much fun!

This game is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Your running abilities are closer to being 400 kg than an average athlete and the monsters abilities are ass. Dont recomend it unless you want to get ball cancer
