"Faith" a garbage Unity asset flip, the developer stole a bunch of assets from Synty low poly packs and slapped them on a procgen map, trying to get famous off the back of flipping Synty assets. Asset flipping is never okay. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. Faith from Alex Walsh Development is a small-scale sci-fi survival shooter that feels like an early-stage experiment built around a familiar but underdeveloped premise. You take on the role of a lone operative sent to an alien world to gather resources for humanity, only to find the mission complicated by hostile forces and a mysterious energy presence that threatens both your progress and survival. The core gameplay loop revolves around traversing a largely open environment, collecting resources, and engaging in basic third-person shooting encounters. Movement is straightforward and responsive enough to get the job done, and combat is easy to understand, making the game immediately accessible. However, this accessibility comes at the cost of variety. Enemy encounters lack meaningful diversity, and combat rarely evolves beyond simple engagements that feel repetitive after only a short time. There are no significant upgrades, abilities, or tactical la…2 found this helpful
Ever since I played Faith I've been looking at the world differently. Faith has changed my life. No game gives me the same thrill as Faith does. The story, the visuals, the sound design, it's out of this world. Faith is love, Faith is life. #FaithRevive20252 found this helpful
Game's unfinished and lookslike it never will be. Sensetivity is terrible, no matter how much I lower it it's still too high Also full of bugs, I had to manually skip the cutscene to end it1 found this helpful
Stone Golem ís scary
Apparently this is the finished product? If it was very early in development I'd think it might eventually become something interesting, but it's a very long way off as it currently exists. Worth every penny.
