randomly raising the price on a nearly 30 year old game is pretty lame, the BMS devs are the only ones even doing anything with Falcon 426 found this helpful
Am not sure why am writing reviews right now i just feel like dumping texts here for some reason but i feel like i wanna say that if you buy this game you'll need to torrent FalconBMS. Really fun and complex! though it does have issues, often game either bugs out by putting a steerpoint in a place where you cannot reach or simply just crashes. Also very ugly interface even with FalconBMS. Pretty bad VR support, when i tried it in vr my pc struggles alot (yes Falcon BMS has VR support) Half of the settings requires you to modify config files. The team behind FalconBMS are Anti-Pirates, i have something against Anti-Piracy especially coming from 3rd party modders who care about a problem that isn't theirs, the game is pretty much abandonware :/ Comparing this with DCS feels awful but i think its nice to have a cheaper f-16c either way.1 found this helpful
i play this vanilla and i love it i've never tried bms since my main pc is on ubuntu and my laptop cant run bms but i still think this is worth the 15 dollars, i got the bundle with all the falcon games and love all of them
falcon 4 files vanished
Basis for one of the most impressive mods of all time, Falcon BMS. An old sim from the 90s brought up to modern standards, supporting VR, and with detail unrivaled in the F-16C and F-15C's systems and the world around them. When avionics other than the F-16 and the new 15C become easy to create and edit, this will be THE modern combat flight sim.
You CANNOT exit this game with the usual Windows shortcuts. And once in the cockpit, I couldn't find any way to get out. ALT + TAB ESC CTRL + ATL + DEL NOTHING works. Eventually, I crashed my plane just to exit, but then the game froze and I had to reboot. Basically, people only buys this game because it is required to play BMS. But this regular version is terrible.
