Fallen Spirit is an art-style micro-adventure that sees you helping a fallen star get back home. There is no spoken story, no guide, or help, its just you teleporting about working things out for yourself. It instantly reminded me of ‘Eclipse: Edge of Light‘, it’s got a dark, but neon blue light world all set in a cave with falling rocks and crumbling platforms. But you are never really in any danger here, nor is there a challenge, but there is a wonderful 20-40 minute adventure here filled with magic and mystery with some low-poly, but nonetheless beautiful graphics. While it did take me a long while I was savouring each scene, each area and taking it all it. You could easily rush through it in 10 or less. For me, this is what indie VR games should be like and for the money, it is super-easy for me to recommend it.7 found this helpful
Yeah, this is a nice little walking simulator I guess. However, I can't recommend it. First of all, it only works with Rift / Quest using link cable. Virtual Desktop didn't work for me. Also, it's too freaking dark. I could barely see anything. And there's only teleport and no turning (you have to turn IRL). Other than that it's fumbling in the dark looking for basic interactions. With some QoL improvements, I would probably recommend because it is a nice game at its core. However, the execution fails miserably. Rate 4.5/10. Nope, not even at $2 USD.6 found this helpful
