This game follows the adventures of Tristan, a knight of the kingdom of Kayzerhart, and Melanie, his chance buddy. Soon both are engulfed in a massive conflict that could very well threaten the whole world.

Pretty classic looking RPG, but VERY grindy. SO grindy. No Inns, hardly any towns that can be visited, and random attacks by things that are almost boss level. Just fight, heal, fight, heal, and pray you find a town just to get a break from the monotony of the white winter world. Mazes and dungeons/towers have long twisty roads to dead ends that often don't even have a chest for your trouble. I played for a few hours, abandoned it once I got a new game, tried to get back into and just ....Meh. I just quit.5 found this helpful
Just know that if you buy this, you're not getting Shakespeare, and it's not Final Fantasy. It's a poorly designed RPGMaker game with a ton of quality of life issues including can't save anywhere (they make you buy an item for this), points where you can't go back, very few shops or inns, no dashing, huge dungeons with multiple side paths that often lead to no reward, and poorly explained abilities. The dialogue and characters are absolutely atrocious, and there are no themes to speak of. All that said, it was cheap and it gave me 10 hours of fun. Gameplay is where it's at for this game. Enemies hit hard, but you have tools to deal with things. I always enjoyed the combat. A few pieces of advice- stay in an area until you have everything you want there. Once you leave, there is no going back. The second shop in the game has boots that increase item drop rate- I wore these for the whole game. You will live on enemy item drops.1 found this helpful
Pretty okay, then you get to the 2nd region and there's nowhere to rest, nowhere to heal, and then the enemy difficulty spikes to the moon.
The few things the game gets right are greatly outweighed by what it does wrong. For starters you have to pay extra to get the instructions book as a DLC item (which is just an odd thing to do), there appears to be no key mapping ability, no way to make the game full screen (or adjust screen size at all), the graphics are overly detailed and tiny, creating a headache inducing expereince, the dialogue is tedious, forced, and annoying. The font used for the dialogue is awful to look at, things that are supposed to be easy to see (like save points) are so poorly designed, they end up being hidden like they're a secret. Game mechancis and the combat display are non-intuititve, and in-game descriptions are willfully vague (maybe designed to force players to pay for the instruction book?). This game would be over priced at free.

Its good but the spiky grass, spiky water in the dungeon, even in the world maps are very annoying :(
