Okay, so I post this negative review as feedback, because, as-is, there are serious shortcomings that mean I would objectively recommend people away from this game, but I'd like it to be otherwise. Here's how I'd change my view to positive. (1) This is a grindy game. As I've noted in forum feedback, the cardinal sin of grindy games is time-waste. If I'm going to need to do stuff over and over in your game, don't make me sit through "cinematic" screen transitions and such. Reduce time-waste to the absolute minimum for loading the next game segment. Get rid of this stuff, pronto. It can come off as disrespectful of your players' time. An option would be to either (a) have the cinematic transitions but allow click to skip them, or (b) allow them to be disabled in options. But as-is, it makes the game *fatiguing* to play and I lose desire to do so. If that wasn't there, I'd pick it up again and try it further. (2) Pause doesn't work half the time. Improve handling of pause so we're not sitting here pressing pause 3 or 4 (or more) times to try to get it to work, then accidentally unpausing again. Overall UI responsiveness in general needs to be improved, very badly -- this …2 found this helpful
Pros -Amazing hand drawn art and animations -Lots of content, 30+ hour story, with extra mini games and puzzles besides the main fighting gameplay -Lots of strategy with upgrading characters, weapons, spells, spending money and getting reputation -many different areas to go to with different character themes, I often switched to a different area if I the one I was on was too hard then upgraded my heros from those missions and went back stronger boss fights are very challenging and fun and have cool designs. Cons -the ui can be a bit confusing at first. -understanding the enemy stats and deciding what to upgrade was a bit hard for me to learn and you will need to know this mid to late game or you will keep dying from picking the wrong characters or spells. -Id say the real game starts like 3-5 hours in so if its too easy at first just wait a bit and it will definitely start getting very hard and will force you to strategize, you wont win by clicking random stuff, and the story starts picking up a lot and you will be hooked. Overall Id recommend this game to anyone who likes the fantasy genre or strategy games, It deserves a lot more attention, its clear a lot of effort went into t…1 found this helpful

Interesting mix of an autobattler and visual novel. Pros: - Good character customization system and a bunch of different classes. It allows to experiment with different builds; - Additionally you have a main hero, which have spell book with 4 elemental schools and his ows skill tree, which gives even more diversity; - Interesting take on map exploration. Each area is presented as a scroll, which we fill by completing area encounters. There are even some puzzle elements in several areas, which is pretty cool; Cons: - Main story is a bit generic, dialogs can be awkward sometimes. But I must admit, there are some plot twists, which make the overall feeling freshier; - If you wanna complete all the quests, game can become grindy; - Forge system was a bit unobvious how to use, mainly iirc game doesn't tell you which essence gives which stat. So you have to first put it in crafting recipe, to see which stat to weapon it gives. Which can be obnoxious, since if you remove the essence, you have to complete the recipe again; - It is a bit hard to tell, what certain things do, like for example you have "Speed" stat on the right, when you select a weapon or armor. But there is no tooltip for…1 found this helpful
