This game is very clunky. Building and road placement is really bad. There's no tooltips, or explanations for anything important. Everything happens incredibly slowly. The game's tutorial is pretty bad at actually teaching you things. It's more just a series of quests that force you to learn maybe half of what you actually need to know to get started. Pathfinding is atrocious. Workers walk around the entire map to get to a building next to where they started from. There's a reason this game goes on sale for dirt cheap. Free mobile games attempting the same thing are somehow more entertaining.1 found this helpful
nice relaxing game
I really like this game. You look after your fields, buy and repair your equipment, train yourself to have more options, buy and sell stuff and feel like a farm owner. This is a Farm Manager, 2021 is more a production manager. If you like to be responsible for large fields full of grown wheat and harvest it and feel proud about it, this is the game for you. In the beginning you have to order your people around like crazy. The more things you learn by training, which costs money and time, the more things you can do. Late game you will be able to appoint people to fields, so they manage them themselves. Mostly. You can create production chains for milk, cheese, meat, honey or other things, but these are there to make money. You ARE a farmer and here you can have large fields and LARGE harvesters and train your people do become better. You can have green houses or bees or create power with solar power stations and sell it. There are a lot of things you can do and all of them are fun. Not everything is easy. Some things feel bugged or wrong until you understand the game logic. All of these cases are unnecessary because they are known and could have been solved, some just by addin…
The game has been abandoned. If you get it for free, you can play it once, then it gets boring. Not much has changed since 2019.
Very nice relaxing game. Strategy and economy style of game. Very good graphics, easy controls, intersting scenarios. The campaign is actually the tutorial and some parts are a bit long but you easily learn all the aspects of the game. If you want something fast, this is not it. You will work your fields extensively during the summer and you have to rush to get everything done and harvested before the winter but when winter comes, there is nothing to do but watch the snow and wait until it melts. I hit a few bugs and it crashed a couple of times on me but nothing dramatic. With the autosave, I was able to recover everything.
Even though the game probably has a lot of fun management and farming features, I didn’t really use them. I just abused the “stock market” to farm money. Crops obviously have different values depending on the time of year, which is really predictable, so all I did was buy crops at a low price and sell them around the peak. The only buildings I really built were storage units so I could store more and more crops per trade I made. After a while, I got bored, sold everything, and built a wind farm for passive income. 3.5 resold tonnes of strawberries out of 5
