About FateChessboard

This might be a Roguelike card game experience unlike any you've had before, incorporating unique combat features while drawing inspiration from excellent gameplay mechanics. In the game, you'll need to use your wisdom and strategy to continuously build your own deck, battling against various powerful enemies to emerge victorious.

🔥An adventure full of surprises awaits you🔥

Your goal is clear—defeat the final BOSS! But on this path to victory, you'll encounter countless random events, intense battles, and opportunities to upgrade your cards. Rest by the campfire to recover health, or upgrade your skills at the forge—every decision could be crucial to success or failure. Remember, whether to fight, rest, or upgrade, each step requires careful strategy.
🎲A unique core gameplay—card version of "Minesweeper"🎲

The most thrilling innovation is the battle system! Imagine a combat scene infused with elements of Minesweeper, where all enemies and skills are hidden beneath mysterious tiles. Like a minesweeper, you need to identify and reveal non-enemy tiles, showcasing the skill cards from your deck. Flip enemy tiles at just the right moment, then strike accurately with your cards.
⚔️Strategic confrontation with a shared deck⚔️

Be warned, enemies will advance towards your cards and attempt to use them to launch attacks against you. Yes, you heard right—in this strategic contest, both you and your opponents share the same deck. You must use your wisdom and strategy to decide how to use the cards, while preventing the enemy from using them to counterattack.

Each run takes place on a grid of events. You start in the middle and click on either battles, shops, resting spots, and many others. Except diagonally, you can choose any event that is adjacent to the previously completed event. There is no limit. A combat takes place on a grid of blocks, which you can remove with a limited number of moves. When you're finished, you end the turn and allow the enemy to make choices. However, an enemy will only act if you discover it beneath one of the blocks. There may be other enemies, and dealing with multiple of them can be quite challenging. The thing you’re looking for are action cards that are scattered over the grid. If you clear the grid of all blocks, all empty spots will be filled with other random cards that you need to uncover again. Uncovered cards can be played by an enemy or you. However, an enemy has to walk on it, while you can simply drag it on an enemy. The game isn’t very deep, but it will give you quite a few hours.
