This game is TERRIBLE!! I wasted 10 mins of my life on this game! No the game isn't 10 mins long but that was all I could take from playing this overpriced game which I would't buy again even if it was free!13 found this helpful
Fear of Glasses o-o is a very badly made 3D rendered first person jumpscare game made in Unity. The idea is that you are afraid of wearing glasses but you can't see (at all) if you don't wear them, so you can only wear your glasses a little bit at a time. If you don't wear your glasses at all eventually a monster kills you, so you need to negotiate each level by blinking the right way to solve the "puzzle" that each boss monster represents. This game is a testament to the concept that the developers not only don't know what video games are supposed to be like, but they don't know a lot about glasses either. On a technical basis, resolution and controls are locked and there's no settings menu at all, so you have to hope the game will work on your system because if it doesn't, there's nothing available for you to self-repair. Needless to say that hamfisted aspect of the implementation pushes this below acceptable standards. The game is full of asset store flipped assets that have been lazily arranged to provide a series of jumpscare puzzles, but with a whopping $10 USD price tag for something this poorly, clunkily slapped together with Unity, I'm going to go with the idea th…10 found this helpful
Very confusing game. But pretty cool idea. Scared of glasses and scared of fears. I got stuck at the first area like I'm sure everyone else did and there wasn't a single guide or anything on YouTube or other websites to help. So I made a video on it. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/1jDjTSyLcI010 found this helpful
Idea could have made a great game but the execution was horrendous this is a really terrible game2 found this helpful
Fears of Glasses o-o is a small-scale horror title that stands out because of its willingness to experiment with ideas rather than chase the conventions established by bigger names in the genre. Developed and published by Hede, the game revolves around an individual trapped in a bizarre nightmare where fear itself becomes both the setting and the primary obstacle. Instead of presenting a straightforward haunted house adventure, the game explores a collection of unsettling scenarios inspired by common phobias and childhood anxieties. From creatures lurking beneath beds to strange entities appearing at windows and doors, every encounter feels like stepping into a fragmented dream stitched together from memories of things that once kept people awake at night. The game's defining feature is its unusual approach to player interaction. The protagonist's glasses are more than a cosmetic detail; they are the foundation of the entire experience. Players must constantly decide when to keep their eyes open and when to shut them, creating a rhythm that feels tense throughout the journey. Closing your eyes can protect you from immediate danger, but remaining in darkness for too long allows fea…
Confusing but Interesting Concept, with a Unique Twist The game has a cool idea but can be quite confusing at times, especially for new players. I found myself stuck in the first area, and from what I've seen, a lot of others struggle with the same. There aren’t many guides out there to help, so I ended up figuring it out myself and made a video to share the solution. The concept revolves around glasses and fears, which is a unique twist, but the lack of direction can make it frustrating at times. Still, if you're into games that make you think and are up for a bit of trial and error, you might find it intriguing!
