FIND ALL: Christmas

I found this one really hard. Mainly because toys can lay flat or upside down and I don't recognize those as the objects I'm looking for. With one you're looking for dinosaurs and it's all different kinds, I'll find them, it just takes longer.

Its okay. The music gets old fast though I turned it off.

This is a pretty game no doubt. The mechanic looks easy point-and-click, but it's really hard to complete it. I am having a sore wrist now.

FIND ALL: Christmas is a really simple hidden object game, but I think it works because it does not try to make the basic idea more complicated than it needs to be. I am dropped into a Christmas setting around the North Pole and my main job is to look through the scenes and find 150 hidden objects. I start at the Polar Express station and can explore places like the cat elves dormitory, the Christmas factory, the reindeer area and Santa's residence. It is a very relaxed kind of game, and I can take my time looking around without worrying about combat, timers or anything getting in the way. The main thing I like is the way the picture changes as I find things. The scenes start out in black and white, and finding the hidden objects gradually brings colour back into the map. That gives me a small sense of progress beyond simply watching a number go up. I also like that the areas are large enough to make me actually look around rather than immediately spotting everything. Some objects are obvious while others blend into the scenery much better, so I have to pay attention to small details. There is also a hint system if I get completely stuck, which I think is important for this type …
