Anomaly game. I am not the biggest fan of the genre, but this one isn't that bad.

[[[[ NO SPOILERS ]]]] Video Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qynfNjzh62k One of my all-time favorite Anomaly Detection games has to be THE CABIN FACTORY, and this game, while not quite as good, still does itself proud trying to emulate that masterpiece. The range of anomalies goes from the extremely subtle to pretty obvious which makes for a fairly difficult game (harder than most). Finnish Cottage 8, developed and published by Savukivi Games, is a compact psychological horror experience built around a deceptively simple idea: observe, remember, and decide. Each time you re-enter the space, you must determine if the environment is safe or if an anomaly has occurred, choosing the appropriate exit based on your judgment. These anomalies range from obvious disruptions to nearly imperceptible alterations—an object slightly out of place, a shift in lighting, or something more unsettling that doesn’t immediately register as wrong. The brilliance of this design lies in how it forces you to question your own memory, creating a constant sense of doubt that grows stronger the lon…

Interesting setting, good clearing speed, nice mix of obvious and subtle anomalies.

I bought this game when it was on sale, and honestly it is a fun little spot the anomaly horror game. The achievements are also fun to work on as you finish the game. No jump scares and just a subtle walk through to spot the differences. Chill horror overall. I would probably not pay full price though because it lacks a lot of replay value and there is no real interactivity.
