About Fomon

A very minimalistic TCG auto-battler featuring creatures called Fomons.
 • Grow your collection: Find a new Fomon every hours. NOT DURING DEMO PLAY
 • Find the perfect specimen: Each Fomon comes with a Tier and unique attributes.
 • Choose a Fomon from your collection and let it fight for you.
 • Compete with others climbing the Leaderboards.
 • Forge duplicate Fomon into stronger Tiers.
Note: Some mentioned features are still roadmap material.

I get it. It’s a low tier idler but this could’ve been so much more. Some of the art on the cards look sick and some just look plain stupid. (You can say the same for Pokémon). I just wish there was more to this than an idle collector.
⭐ Game Review – Fomon Developer: GetOst_

🔥 Introduction Fomon is one of those games that quickly grabs your attention. With a clear concept, strong identity, and a focus on pure gameplay fun, it delivers an engaging experience that keeps players hooked through curiosity and steady progression. It respects the player’s time and rewards commitment in a smart and satisfying way. 🎮 Gameplay Highlights The gameplay in Fomon is easy to learn but layered with enough depth to remain interesting over time. Controls feel responsive, actions provide clear feedback, and the gameplay loop is well-designed, constantly encouraging players to go for “just one more run.” The balance between challenge and reward is handled very well, with mechanics unfolding naturally as you progress, rather than overwhelming the player early on. 🎨 Graphics, Soundtrack & Immersion Visually, Fomon features a clean and cohesive art style that fits its concept perfectly. The graphics are sharp and readable, making the action easy to follow at all times. The soundtrack enhances the overall experience, setting the right mood without becoming repetitive. Sound effects are impa…

Basically its game of cards where u need to gather cards to evolve them to increase theirs stats to have stronger mobs. Every hour u get 1 mob for free and each day u'll get a pack of 5 cards for free. I like the design of mobs but there arent lot of tasks of stuffs to do but feel free to try it, i like it. Hope in the future the game can get more content of stuffs to do for be a better game.

After days of having this run as I do other work/ chores around the house. I have come to the conclusion that this game is definitely worth the download. There's a lot of conversation and speculation about it- and there's things I want to address. Fomon is a free low effort idler, it is minimalist to its very core. The main screen doesn't even take up half my monitor while loading. There's a list of cards and commands- a fuse button and a battle button and that is it. When I first downloaded it I was like wow I can't store it in a deck page I don't see a list of what I even CAN collect- there's a lot of Quality of Life issues for me personally in this game. The true reality is that this game is not supposed to have the insane depth that people might look for. The description in the store is " minimalist idle "- The cards don't even have names. I'd say it's really fun putting it on another monitor, doing work or another game and letting it idle. Cause auto battling and watching the number is what it's designed to do. There's definitely potential for so much more, I think that's why people are frustrated . I do have to note that at the time of this post the core mechanics of …

The challenge to reach #1 is real, and every hour brings a new Fomon to discover, keeping the grind fresh and strategic. It’s not a deep narrative experience, but that’s not the point. This is a lean, focused card battler where the thrill comes from optimizing your deck, mastering the mechanics, and outplaying the competition. If you enjoy retro vibes, creature collecting, and a good PvE climb, Fomon’s got you covered.

I feel like the game needs a quest randomizer as the quests stop after beating 150 unique creature encounters. I was able to finish all of the quests in about 75 minutes but now the only way for me to gain new packs would be to buy them on Steam or play an hour just to get a new pack. It almost makes you wish that there were more quests or a currency system in-game to use in an in-game shop, but sadly there is none. Aside from this issue, I enjoyed the artstyle, the single-track used for the music, and the fonts used for the game. An RNG card game is kind of unique, in my opinion. It takes the strategy away from a card game and makes it feel more like a gamble compared to a card game that uses mostly strategy with the luck of the draw. Here, you can pick a card you'd like and gamble upon if it'll win by chance.
