A creepy little game you can beat in 1-2 hours. Football Game is the perfect sort of experience for horror game fans who prefer spooky vibes over cheap jump scares and excessive gore (this game has heaps of the former and none of the latter two). However, if you're the sort of gamer who likes to have all loose ends wrapped up neatly and/or who doesn't like ambiguous endings, the game's somewhat abrupt ending might frustrate you a bit. Still, for the price point, Football Game is hard to beat. I'd personally recommend playing it alongside another of Cloak and Dagger Games' titles, 'A Date in the Park,' (which is free to download and play) for a fun little "spooky afternoon double feature" (both games are quite short, but they're also both worth playing in my opinion).

I played another of their games a few months back (Hob's Barrow) and this game constantly goes on sale and has been on my wishlist so I was like 'why not?' and picked it up when the last sale happened and just got around to playing it. It's good! Short and sweet and not terribly complicated for a point-and-click game. The plot is vague yet interesting, leaving a lot for your own interpretation of the events and how the story is structured.

Short, but good!

For its length I guess is fine. The story is allright. The puzzles are easy enough to do or figure out of. Is a game you can easily take in a session. The artstyle is also allright.

Cute little game. That said foe 2-3 bucks it's a nice short game. I did see the ending coming, but several questions are left unanswered, like
why the main character is not on the football team anymore.
it leaves to the player to decide what really happened in the end. I would not quite classify it as "horror". It feels more like a psychological thriller/mystery. Also did they actually put a "The Room" reference in there? :D
