No --- This is a $2 game made with RPGMaker. If you're not familiar with what that is, you can buy it yourself and make a game like this in a weekend. There's literally thousands of cheap games on steam made with RPGMaker, most of them pretty mediocre; but some are interesting enough for a couple hours entertainment if they are priced cheap enough. The story here is oddball enough to maybe be entertaining: a sleep over at a school (although, who has sleepovers at schools for fun?) that turns into a thriller / murder mystery. The problem is the game overall is so glitchy that it's constantly getting in the way of even being able to make progress and the level design is amateur. In the first room the exit door isn't clearly marked, so you're clicking on every wall hoping it will let you out. Which might be forgivable if two of the other walls didn't let you walk through them and hard lock you into a blank space, forcing you to restart the game. The second room you're supposed to go around and talk to everyone… OK, sure, but two of the conversations are broken and hard lock the game. In the span of 15 minutes I've had to alt+f4 force the game closed and start over multiple times …

A short thriller RPG maker game that I quite enjoyed The game is roughly just over an hour long and is cheap so if you're into thriller/horror RPGmaker games I recommend checking it out

It feels like someone took a short horror movie concept and crammed it into RPG Maker, which actually worked better than it should have. Against all odds, this was an enjoyable production. This is literally my first time playing one of these types of games where you wander around in an RPG Maker produced product with no battles or combat, and I liked it. At first, I was really worried this was going to suck. Literally on the first map, I managed to use the area around the bed to walk through the walls. It was a bad sign, and I was really that something so bad would happen that I'd give up playing in the first 15 minutes. But then, by the 15 minute mark, something made it far worse, because OF COURSE it did. I accidentally changed the language and stopped playing for a couple months until I came back. Oh, you expected it to be something bad the game did? Nah, the dev actually made a good one, as I already said. It's not an adventure; it's a short horror movie, for better or worse. Is the story perfect? No. Do I think it needed a bit more work in the proofreading department? Yes. Am I annoyed by the fact that this is basically Gone Home but not crap? Yes, but it's not crap, so th…
