About Freenergy

Freedom gives energy, and energy gives freedom.

Freenergy is a turn-based tactics game. In the distant future, battles between robot gladiators have become commonplace. You are an engineer who loves robots and science, but you have fallen into the hands of a corporation. And now you have to create war machines and participate in battles, because this is the only way to save your life and the lives of your loved ones.

At the base you will develop your robot and prepare for battle. Over time, your robot will gain new skills, and each module will be able to use powerful abilities. You have to defeat many different enemies and a large number of robot gladiators. But all difficulties can be overcome when your partner is a cybercat.

Key features:
- Key rivals - robots created on the basis of characters from folk tales.
- Robots can consist of several parts, each of which is a combat unit.
- You have a total supply of energy that needs to be distributed among the units allowing them to perform actions.
- Abilities have a different activation time, allowing you to plan your attacks.
- A huge number of ability combinations for each module.
- Simultaneous activation of abilities for explosive effect.

Ample customisation and sizeable tactical options belie its minimalist look, both contributing to some addictive gameplay. The experience is streamlined, well polished and potentially bug free. There are some minor complaints. No inclusion of pilots and alternate chassis'. Battles are fought on the same rigid grid. Balance depends on the player's setup. Despite a New Game+ mode, the linear campaign, scripted encounters and lack of dynamic factors limit replay value. Surprisingly, it rises beyond its sparse appearance to scrape a WORTHWHILE rating. Neat little strategy/tactics game. This time, the enemy moves instead of you, but you can customize your 5 guns to hit different grids. Game should entertain you for a couple hours. Each stage (usually 3 fights) takes about 15 minutes. PROS: - Enemy gives enough info each turn for you to plan good counters - There's a decent balance between damage and energy usage - Low price CONS: - Limited variety of weapons to put on each limb - Bad RNG can lead to no good play/turn

Freenergy is a tactical gem that blends strategic depth with captivating storytelling. The turn-based combat system is both challenging and rewarding, demanding careful energy management and tactical planning. The modular robot design offers countless customization options, allowing you to tailor your fighting style. The story, set in a world of robot gladiators, is compelling and emotionally engaging, drawing you into the struggles of the protagonist. The unique visual style and enchanting soundtrack further enhance the immersive experience. If you seek a game that will challenge your mind and captivate your heart, Freenergy is a must-play.

You are a scorpion mech pilot, and you kill robots. There is a story, but the game just rushes through it. I can't hate it as it is a one-man dev team, so good start. Be less boring next time.

The game is quite interesting, developed in the genre of Pixel graphics with the addition of mechanical robots, plus can be called a lot of bosses
