Warning: If you don’t feel like reading the furious ramblings of an enraged duck, just read this one sentence — this so-called game crashed three times in 20 minutes, forcefully restarting OBS. On the fourth attempt, which barely allowed me to record a 4-minute video, it crashed again — this time rebooting my entire PC. Right. I’ve played a lot of bad games over the past 35 years. Ugly ones. Boring ones. Unoptimized messes. Bug-filled disasters. Half-finished junk. But I hadn’t stumbled upon something this awful in a long time. Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean is supposed to be a tactical stealth game with a pirate twist — something along the lines of Commandos or Desperados, but with more rum. Instead, the game crashes constantly. Even after setting everything to minimum, running it at a resolution I haven't seen since the early 2000s, and looking like something I could’ve made in MS Paint during lunch break — it crashes. And when it doesn’t crash, it runs at maybe 20 frames per second. Let’s leave that aside for a moment. It’s ugly. The art style, the animations, the UI — everything. The core gameplay barely functions. Enemies spot you through multiple walls and entire build…9 found this helpful
There is nothing good I can say about this game3 found this helpful
A disgrace to the game industry ! Not worth a penny! Bad bad bad.3 found this helpful
The screen turns black and unresponsive when I click on the load or save menus. I wonder how the developers managed to miss that.2 found this helpful
sadly the game wants you to let it get in your computer for collecting data for the developers to help further fixes of bugs etc non the less the game since i bought it did not change it has bugs and crashes in times ... i miss the times when the people that did games and sell them where proper makers and sold a solid one even if it had some bugs it was 1000 times better than today standarts and they did not asked you for anything when they fix something did not ask for any extra money , today they just mock you in your face with fake fixes or dlc's, clothes , sun glasses , the green parrot not the red , look we got that new one is purple ...sad very sad even if this game has a lot of potentials it just is a fast food for fast profit1 found this helpful
I played the demo. I even left very enthusiastic feedback on Steam forums. I was super eager to play this and finally found time in my backlog. I'm terribly sorry, something must've gone really wrong here. Demo played perfectly and I loved it. Now I have even more powerful PC and game lags on mouseover on enemies, barrels etc. Framerate drops to 1FPS, but at the same time CPU and GPU usage drops to 5%. I tested also on different PC and it behaves the same. I wanted to play this so much. I don't want to give negative review but it's been a long time and there's no hope left.
