Remake is pretty good, done all achievements apart from Impossible which is still doable. Would recommend this game.

The only problem I have is the terrible performance, there's no reason other than nostalgia to play the og version if you have the hardware. Calling this a remake is too much, it's just an updated version of the game, literally replaces the original... This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but hey, it's the same game with the map, progression, zero gravity, THAT PART, turret section and the leviathan fight all improved so I can't complain because I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a lot about 4 of these things whenever I played a new campaign on my crusty ps3. I have heard about people crashing constantly on console, but it never happened to me on pc in all my playthroughs, though it would freeze randomly for like 3 seconds if you alt tabbed back to the game, it's not instant, it's like the freeze is queued to happen and will show up in a 30 second interval, at least it won't happen again until you alt tab once more. This is a glorified update, not a remake and you can't convince me otherwise. It's good and easy to recommend instead of the original, but wtf is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ea? Really? It's the same game but slightly better, was making this "remake" worth something?
Game is okay. Sad to see bugs that have been around since inception are still there though. At least this company understands what optimization is. The game isn't 120 GBs like most AAA games now.
